JoAnn Joyner Baker, 59, died Saturday. JoAnn was born March 3rd, 1950 in Louisville to the late Oscar H. and Georgette Irene Compau Joyner. She was a retired office clerk for Bell South. Survivors are two children, Carol Lynn Collett of IN and Cheryl Annette Johnston of WI, four grandchildren, three sisters, Rose Whatley of TN, Christina Lanzer of TX, Ruth Lewellen of Lexington, three brothers, Lawrence Joyner of TX, John Joyner of Corinth and Terry Joyner of TX and other family members. Services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Barnes officiating. Private burial will follow. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be James and William Lewellen and David and Michael Joyner.
