Jeffery Scott Fain, 60, husband of Glenda Faye Bowlin Fain, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at his home on Fairdale Drive, Lexington. He was born in Lexington on October 13, 1962, to Joyce Miller Fain Jump, and the late Lyle McClain Fain. Jeff was a master electrician and an avid coin buyer and seller. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Glenda Fain; mother, Joyce Jump (Ron); stepdaughter, Gina Cloyd; brother, James Vernon Fain (Emily); step-grandson, James Robert Brock; uncles, Ray Miller (Pat), and Paul Miller (Susan); aunts, Susan Ballard (Mark), and Christy Miller; nephews, Drew Durham (Amy), and Blake Durham (Logan); great-nephews, Andrew Durham, Kamdyn Coate, Civil Durham, and Sterling Durham; great-niece, Gracelyn Michelle Durham; as well as a host of cousins and other family members to mourn his passing. Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Lyle Fain; paternal grandparents, Rufus and Virginia Fain; maternal grandparents, J.D. and Ardell Miller; grandson, Daniel Wayne Denny; uncle, David Miller; cousin, Shannon Miller; and his beloved Jack Russell, Missy. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 28, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Larry Goldey officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve Jeff and his family in their time of need.
