Jane Pritchett Bailey (91) of Wilmore, Kentucky, passed away on August 25, 2025, after living with Alzheimer’s for over twenty years. She was born on February 13, 1934, in Niantic, Illinois, to Charles & Marcia Pritchett. Jane graduated from the University of Illinois and married Roger M. Bailey in 1957. Jane lived in Decatur, IL, Springfield, IL, Michigan City, IN, The Villages, FL, Jacksonville, FL, and Wilmore, KY. Jane participated in several organizations, including PEO, Tri Kappa, Christian Women’s Club, the church soup kitchen, bell choir, and Friendship Bible studies. She also enjoyed golfing, bridge, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger M. Bailey, in 2010, and her son, Jeffrey M. Bailey, in 2024. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn E. Bailey of Fishers, IN, and Carol Bailey (Jeff) Henderson of Wilmore, KY; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 am (CST) at Graceland Fairlawn Cemetery, 2091 North Oakland Avenue, Decatur, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to your favorite charitable organization or to The Malachi Network, a global missions organization, P.O. Box 292, Quarryville, PA 17566.
