James Mitchell Taylor

James Mitchell Taylor, 73, widower of Carolyn Jean Lowry Taylor died Saturday, August 14, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on August 17, 1947, in Lincoln County, Kentucky to the late Silas Howk Taylor and Minnie Jane Phillips Taylor. He was retired from MVC Corporations as a tool and die maker and was co-owner of Jessamine Wake and Vape. Survivors include two daughters, Sheary Parker (Ronnie), Angie Preston (Randy), sister, Regina Taylor, and four grandchildren, Misty (Brian) Cobb, Lucas (Elizabeth) Parker, Brett (Tiffany) Preston, and Ethan Preston, four great-grandchildren, Gracie Bowen, Evan Cobb, Ian Parker, and Christian Preston. He was preceded in death by three siblings. Services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with visitation from 5:00-9:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
