Jaime Rebecca Halcomb Caudill

Jaime Rebecca (Halcomb) Caudill, age 49, lost a six-year battle with cancer and entered the presence of her newfound Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Jaime was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on November 15, 1976, to Peggy McKnight Halcomb and the late James “Jimmy” Coleman Halcomb. Jaime loved life. Her love for people and her vibrant personality were contagious for all those who knew her. She was a graduate of Jessamine County High School, the class of 1995, and attended BCTC. She had worked for Kentucky Medical Services Foundation for several years and as a loan officer for many years. In addition to her mother, Peggy, she is survived by two daughters, Emma Catherine Herrington and her husband, Matthew, and Kylie Hunter Halcomb; a stepdaughter, Madeline Alexandra Fitch Caudill; a brother, Kyle Austin Halcomb, and his wife, Lindsey; two nephews, Fischer Coleman Halcomb, and Holden Crew Halcomb. Additional survivors include a special aunt, Jane McKnight Deitrick, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth McKay McKnight, Perry McKnight, Ethel Woosley, and Charlie Woosley, and a step-grandmother, Mary Sue McKnight. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Jessamine Christian Church with Pastor Doug Piatt officiating. The burial will follow in the Wilmore Cemetery. Bearers will be Fischer Halcomb, Kyle Halcomb, Matthew Herrington, Bill Adkisson, Wesley Hosney, and Derby Caudill. Honorary bearers will be Holden Halcomb, Evan Hosny, and Leo Hosny.
