Helen Short Pinkston
May 11, 1920 — March 25, 2008
Helen Short Pinkston, 87, wife of James Pinkston, of Meadowlark Lane, died March 25, 2008 after a brief illness. She was a U.S. Marine veteran, a former deputy sheriff in San Bernardino, California. Additional survivors include two daughters, Faye (Billy) Morris and Kelly Hernandez-Pinkston, two grandchildren, David and Lisa Kate Hernandez, a sisters, Margie Libert-CA and was prededed in death by three brothers and two sisters, Faye Short, Tommy short, Terry Short, Melba Hagen and Mary Tibbs. Services will be 1:30 Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Barnes. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Thursday. Burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bearers will be Johnny Morris, Tim Morris, James Morris, Ruben Morris, Ronnie Morgan and Richard Basil. Online guestbook at www.bettsandwestfuneralhome.com
