Grace Mae Bryant, 83, wife of Doug Bryant, ascended to her Heavenly Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 8, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Lexington on April 24, 1939, to the late Richard Clem and Gevena Cassity Clem. Grace worked as a receptionist for many years with Dr. Witt’s dentistry, and was a member of the Jessamine Christian Church. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Douglas Bryant; sons, Douglas Bryant Jr. (Marilyn), and James Gregory Bryant (Tonya); daughter, Tracie Taylor Rhineheimer (Owen); grandchildren, Douglas Bryant III, Jacob Bryant (Lena), Jacqueline Kinzig, Ami Gerasimobich (Micah), Staci Bryant, Ashley Vanoy (Jayme), Katie Alexander (Austin); and great-grandchildren, Bailey Bryant, Savannah Bryant, Grayson Kinzig, Hunter Kinzig, Eliana Grace Bryant, Maddie Taylor, Landon Hill, and Walker Alexander. She leaves this Earth to join her parents, Richard and Geneva; brothers, William Clem, Earl Clem, and Charles Clem; and sister, Mary Ann Houts. Services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 13, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Jacob Bryant, Douglas Bryant III, Austin Alexander, Jayme Vanoy, Landon Hill, and Darrell Edgington. All of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be honorary bearers. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, until the time of service at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve Grace and her family in their time of need.
