Fred William Steffen, 93, passed into the arms of God on February 1, 2025. Born in St. Matthews, Ky., he was a long-time resident of Lexington. For 30 years, he owned and operated Creative Reproductions. Skilled as a graphic designer and printer, he supplied customers reliably. His photography, watercolor paintings, and pencil drawings were frequently exhibited. Fred was a member of the Lexington Camera Club and the Creative Art League in Jessamine County. As an avid rose grower, he enjoyed sharing roses with others. He received certification as a Consulting ARS Rosarian. As an Army veteran, he proudly served in the Korean War. He was a member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church. Fred will be remembered as humble, kind, and generous.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cartwright Steffen, a brother, Robert Steffen, his son, Rev. Fred Timothy Steffen (Delia), a granddaughter, Rebekah Steffen, two grandsons, Jacob Steffen and Jordan Steffen. 

A Military Graveside Service will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County on Friday, May 30, at 2:30 PM.
