Forrest Gene Young

Forrest Gene Young, age 79, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born on November 14, 1946, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Ruebert Young and Evelyn Fish Young. Forrest was a retired employee of the Fayette County Urban Government as a maintenance technician. He is survived by his loving daughter, Tina Marie Young; a brother, David Young; cousins, Rebecca Giles, Dennis Fish, Teresa Hollingsworth, Cathy Elkins, and Karen Howell; and numerous children of the cousins. The family has chosen cremation. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
