Ernest L. "Sonny" Holt

On Saturday, November 19, 2022, God called Ernest L. “Sonny” Holt, age 78 into Eternal Glory. He was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky on February 14, 1944, to the late Ernest B. Holt and Anna Lois Jones Holt. He joined the church at an early age and later joined Bethel Harvest Church where he worshipped until the Lord called him home. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert L. Holt.

He leaves to cherish in his loving memory, his loving wife of 32 years, Linda S. Holt, and his two children, a daughter, Natosha N. Holt, and a son, Christopher S. Holt, all of Nicholasville, Kentucky. His brother, Ernest Holt, Louisville, Kentucky, his sisters, Julie Holt Graham, Atlanta, Georgia, and Zenobia (Kay) Jones, Lexington, Kentucky, his father-in-law, James G. Sesco, Beckley, West Virginia, his sisters-in-law, Roberta O. (Dottie) Holt, Louisville, Kentucky, Regina (John) Porter, Camp Creek, West Virginia, Lois (Randall) Tolliver, Beckley, West Virginia, Brenda (Jerry) Willingham, Beckley, West Virginia, Sharon (Jim McComas) Howard, Nicholasville, Kentucky, his brothers-in-law, Randall (Laura Burdette) Sesco, Alpoca, West Virginia, Granville (Shelly) Sesco, Stephenson, West Virginia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Matthew 25:23- His Lord said unto him, well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 28, at Bethel Harvest Church with David Kalifut officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service, Monday, at the church. Betts & West is honored to serve the Holt family in their time of need.
