Elizabeth Ann Hurt Reynolds, 84, widow of Henry Reynolds, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 19, 1942, in Jessamine County to the late James Lee and Mary Gladys Bruner Hurt. She graduated in 1960 from Jessamine County High School. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Homer, Donald, Carl, and James Wesley (Pete) Hurt, and her sister, Faye Hurt Henry.

Elizabeth lived most of her life in Lexington and retired from IBM in 1990 after 29 years of service. Her greatest gift, besides being the best Nena, was generosity and compassion for others. She will be dearly remembered for her selflessness, vibrant laughter, and incomparable cooking skills.

She is survived by a son, Michael Dale Reynolds, daughter, Tina Michelle (Scott) Navis, four grandchildren, Taylor Elizabeth, Jonathan Owen (Heaven), Michael Anthony, and Benjamin Edward Navis, sister Linda Hurt Land, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be 4-8:00 PM, Monday, July 6, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America www.alzfdn.org or the UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging.
