Edith Pearl Drury

Edith Pearl Drury, age 94, widow of Edward Drury, peacefully passed at her home on September 23, 2026, after a short illness. She was born to the late Claude and Bessie Sallee Merriman on April 30, 1932, in Mercer County, Kentucky. Edith was a longtime member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and leaves behind three children: Roger Drury and his wife, Joan; Charlotte Drury; and Martha Caudill. Additional survivors include ten grandchildren, Todd Drury, Derrick Drury, Frank Anderson, Brian Anderson, Jami Oliver, Mary Caudill, Kimberly Caudill, Marshall (Jennifer) Caudill, Tim Reed, and special granddaughter Teresa (Tommy) Garrison; 24 great-grandchildren, including two special, Jarrod and Cameron Garrison; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Drury; her grandson, Dana Reed; her two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Doyle and Helen Ryan; and her brothers, Arnold Merriman, Charles Merriman, and Everett Merriman. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Pastor Tommy Morrow officiating. The burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as bearers. The visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
