Our beloved Dr. Richard (Dick) Bruce Reznik went to be with the Lord Jesus on the morning of January 29, 2022 at Wesley Village, Wilmore Kentucky. Dr. Reznik was born May 7th, 1942 to Lad and Lillian (Tomash) Reznik in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated with high honors from Brunswick High School in 1960. Dick went on to MIT to complete his undergraduate degree and then to Case Western Reserve University to earn his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry. For a short time he was employed at Ohio State University where he worked in a lab and was also part of a Navigator team, mentoring young men. While Dick was employed as a chemist at the Monsanto Co. in Dayton, Ohio for a number of years. It was during that time, he met Nancy Smith. They were married on August 1, 1981. Dick and Nancy then served as Navigator associates in Maracaibo, Venezuela while Dick was employed at a coal laboratory. In 1986 they moved to Wilmore, Ky where Dr. Reznik taught chemistry classes at Asbury University. He loved his students and often shared illustrations of how God worked in his life during his years at Monsanto. Dr. Dick Reznik is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Reznik, his sister-in-law, Jaunita Reznik, Reznik nephew & nieces: Roger, Anitra Simkin (Rob-husband, Neva, Hudson, Tymon-children), sister-in-law, Janet Smith Hubbard (James-husband), Hubbard nieces & nephews: Laura Lee Hubbard, James Eric Hubbard (Stacie-wife, Abigail, Amos -children), Rhoda Lynn Hubbard Anderson (Zac-son) and more grand nephews and nieces. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Roger Reznick.
