Donald Carol Watts

Elder Don C. Watts was born on August 21, 1943, in Breathitt County Kentucky the 6th child of James and Nannie Watts.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Carol Collins Watts, his parents, brothers James Jr. and Keith; sisters Faye, Lois and Wanda. He spent most of his life in Columbus, Indiana as a licensed plumber.

He has sisters Joyce Combs, Columbia, SC; Sue Lancaster, Jackson, KY; Larry Watts, Charlotte, NC; Lonnie Watts, Lexington, KY; Tony Watts, Jackson, KY

Don has two daughters, Candace Jackson and Celeste Patterson of Indianapolis, Indiana, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren. In his marriage to Linda Tapp Merrick of Nicholasville, Kentucky he received two additional daughters, Beth Crockett, Myrtle Beach, SC and Tiffany Borowick, Louisville, Kentucky.

Don surrendered his life to Jesus Christ on September 13, 1969, was ordained to the full work of the ministry on March 2, 1975 and was a servant of God as a pastor for over thirty-five years in Columbus and Indianapolis, Indiana; Macon County Tennessee; Louisville and Versailles Kentucky.
