Donald Lee Brooks

Donald Lee Brooks, 79, of Pollard Pike, Nicholasville, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at his home. On January 25, 1943, he was born in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Gilbert and Mary Pauline Peel Brooks. He was retired from Sargent & Greenleaf, where he worked as a bookkeeper. He is survived by a brother Bernard Gayle (Brenda) Brooks, a niece, Candella Michelle Brooks, a nephew, Kevin Dayle Brooks, three great-nieces, Loryn Rebyl Dakota Brooks, Jerri Lynn Michelle Brooks, and Kathryn Kristin Brooks, three great-nephews, Noah Anders Brooks, Zachary Ethan Brooks, and Landen Isaiah Brooks. Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Bernard Brooks, Gene Brooks, Candella Michelle Brooks, Loryn Rebyl Dakota Brooks, Jerri Lynn Michelle Brooks, and Jeff Crutcher.
