Devola "Dee" Mae Boggs

Devola -Dee- Mae Boggs, 81, died May 20, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Ella Lewis. Mrs. Boggs was active in the KITS Club at Southland Christian Church and was a retired employee of K-Mart. Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Jo Ann and Jack Clark of Lexington, thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sisters, Allie B. Curd and Lorraine Snowden, a brother, Cecil Lewis, a host of nieces, nephews and her friends at Malabu Manor Apartments. She was preceded in death by three children, Ada May, Jackie Bullock and James Wilbur Hardin. Services will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Simpson. Burial will follow in the Wilmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Tuesday. Bearers will be James May, Christopher Mullikin, Lonnie, Rickey and David Noe and Darin Heath.
