Dennis Lee Rose, 76, husband of Brenda Baker Rose, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at his home on Hickory Hill Drive in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on January 8, 1948, to the late Auburn Dennis Rose Sr. and Alice Lee Givens Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Cathy Logan and Pam Davis. Dennis was a self-employed painter with D.L. Rose and Sons. Dennis was a loving husband and devoted father. He was a Godly man and a faithful follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a part of Humble Hearts gospel group for 18 years. Survivors include three sons, David Leander Rose, Jeffrey Wayne (Dayna) Rose, and Jeremy Rose, as well as a daughter, Ginnie McIntyre, twelve grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews he loved dearly. Additional survivors include two brothers, Frank (Joanne) Rose and Auburn Dennis Rose Jr, and three sisters, Patsy Rose Booth, Sherry Barnes, and Nancy King. The visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the New Hope Fellowship church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at New Hope Fellowship Church, with Pastor Richard Stipes officiating. David Rose, Jeffery Rose, Tony Whitaker, Deo Young, Skyler Rose, and Dakota Rose will serve as pallbearers. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Dennis and the Rose family.
