David W. Hurd, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville. David was born on July 21, 1974, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Carolyn Hurd and David Dunaway. He is preceded in death by one sister, Ana Rankin.
David was a special giving man with a kind heart, always helping others with a smile on his face, or telling something funny. He loved the outdoors, fishing, building things, and music. David chose to be an organ donor, so in death, others will have the Gift of Life.
