David Garland May Iii

David Garland May III, 65, husband of Kathy Draper May, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. He was born in Alexandria, LA on July 28, 1956, to the late David Garland May Jr. and Joyce Sewell May. David was a licensed insurance agent and since his retirement has worked as a Bus Monitor for Jessamine County School system. He is survived by a son David “Garland” May IV and a sister, Nicole Spann (Gary) and his nephews Alex Morgan, Nolan, and Nicholas Spann. David was preceded in death by his sister, Spring May Morgan. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Wilmore Cemetery. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve David and his family.
