Above all else, David's faith defined his life.

David H. Crouse, Jr., 83, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Augusta, Georgia, on February 11, 1943, to the late David H. Crouse, Sr. and Lillian Lewis Crouse.David was a 1960 graduate of Jessamine County High School and a member of the Conqueror Class at Asbury College, graduating in 1965. For more than 30 years, he owned and operated Crouse Concrete, building not only a successful business but also lasting relationships throughout Central Kentucky.For 62 years, David shared a devoted marriage with the love of his life, Judy Walker Crouse. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Above all else, David's faith defined his life. He was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and found great strength, peace, and purpose in his relationship with his Lord and Savior.David is survived by his wife, Judy Walker Crouse; his children, Julianne (Scott) Frazier, Susan (Tyler) Wilson, and David Crouse III; his grandchildren, Hunter (Ashley) Frazier, Hope (Todd) Adams, Gresham (Candice) Wilson, Tanner (Gabrielle) Wilson, Peyton Wilson, and Dalton (Leslie) Crouse; and his great-grandchildren, Annie and Turner Frazier, with great-granddaughter Margot Wilson expected to arrive in August.He is also survived by his beloved sisters, Katy Moynahan and Cecille Sternberg, and brother-in-law Sam Sternberg, along with a host of cherished relatives and dear friends.David lived a life marked by service to his church, community, and those in need. He served as a member of the Southland Christian Church Board of Elders and Deacons, the Indian Springs Holiness Campground Board, the Jessamine County Planning and Zoning Board, and the Kentucky Ready Mix Concrete Association Board. He also volunteered as a disaster relief truck driver, assisting recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina and the Tarboro flood disaster.Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, at Wilmore Cemetery. A Celebration of Life reception will follow from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Wesley Village Community Center, with family and friend tributes beginning at 3:30 p.m.Serving as pallbearers will be David Crouse III, Scott Frazier, Tyler Wilson, Jon Crouse, Hunter Frazier, Gresham Wilson, Dalton Crouse, Tanner Wilson, and Todd Adams.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Missions Ministry at Southland Christian Church through https://southland.church/give or by mail to P.O.
