David Owen Carroll

David Owen Carroll, 75, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at his home in Lancaster, Kentucky. He was born in Versailles, Kentucky, on August 25, 1951, the son of the late Leon and Velma Christine Tipton Carroll. David was a United States Army Veteran, serving in both Vietnam and Desert Storm. He later worked for the Federal Government as a Prison Guard. He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly O. Carroll and Tina A. Fotopolos, and her husband, John, as well as two grandchildren, Nicos and Amara Fotopolos, and a brother, Jeffrey Leon Carroll, and his wife, Karen. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wayne Carroll. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
