Daniel Lee Morris, 77, husband of Muriel Farley Morris, died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Brookdale Richmond Place in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Black Mountain, Virginia on October 10, 1943 to the late Elmer and Margaret Smith Morris. Daniel was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and was a retired Truck Driver for Sysco. Besides his wife Daniel is survived by a son Edward (Marla) Farley Morris, two daughters Anna Margaret (Billy) Haas and Dannia (Steve) Scoggins, nine grandchildren Ryan Morris, Tara Cherven, Bradley Craycraft, Dakota Richardson, Steven Scoggins, Travis Scoggins, Brandon Scoggins, Morgan Morris, and Eli Morris. Daniel is also survived by several great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Ray, Harry, Sonny and Jim, five sisters Margie, Billie, Teddie, Virginia and Janice. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Betts & West Funeral Home & West Funeral Home with Pastors Steve Sholar, Cody Dean and Alex Kinchen officiating. Interment will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friend on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 4-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
