Cynthia Marie Brewer

Cynthia Marie Brewer, age 60, loving wife of Marc Gray Brewer, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on July 12, 1965 to Mac Arthur Blanton and Cynthia Genora Martin. Cynthia was employed as a caregiver for her family. Survivors include two daughters, Laken Deli and her husband, Frank, and Haley Hopper and her husband, Houston, a son, Marcus Brewer, Jr., and his wife, Laura, and six grandchildren which affectionately referred to as Mamaw, Brylee Brewer, Titus Brewer, Lyndi Deli, Lincoln Deli, Rhodes Clark, and Beau Hopper. Additional survivors include two brothers: Glen Blanton and his wife, Ada; Roy Blanton and his wife, Carrie. She is preceded in death by a sister, Penny Scalf, and a brother, Tim Scalf. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, with Pastor Tommy Morrow officiating. The burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery with Marc Brewer, Marcus Brewer, Frank Deli, Houston Hopper, Jacob Hughes, and Alex Hughes serving as bearers. The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the church.
