Curtis Flora,71, died Friday, October 14, 2022, at the V.A. Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Woodford County, Kentucky on September 9, 1951, to the late Ansel Flora and the late Minnie Mae Bailey Flora. Curtis worked as a carpenter and was an Army Veteran. Survivors include a son, Curtis Lee Flora, Jr., and two daughters, April (Travis) Greene and Melissa Flora, two brothers, Ronnie (Eunice) Flora and Kenneth Flora, four sisters, Joyce Moore, Peggy (Cecil) Wilson, Hazel (Eddie) Redmond, and Brenda Lee, grandchildren, Christopher (Morgan) Greene, Jeremy (Brittanie) Greene, Emily Greene, Rachel (William) Page, Lauren Greene, Noah Flora , Braden Flora, and Casey Flora, great-grandchildren, Aleia Greene, Madilynn Greene, and Mary Elizabeth Greene. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Owen Flora, Sheridan Flora, and Stanley Flora. Services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Jay Webb officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Bearers will be Joel Flora, Rex Flora, Timmy Flora, Keith Flora, Robbie Wilson, and Marvin Redmond. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
