Connie Jewell Kerby Decker

Connie Jewell Kerby Decker, 47, widow of Ronnie Lee Decker, died Thursday, January 23, 2014. She was born March, 1, 1966 in Lexington to Dallas M. Kerby and the late Mary Elizabeth Williamson Kerby. Connie was a member of the Springdale Baptist Church and loved to do crafts. She is survived by two children, Tiffany (Cory) Smith and Wesley Smith, one grandchild, Michael 'Doodle-Bug' Smith, one sister, Ann Cloud, two brothers, Mark and Nolan Kerby and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Kerby. Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Gayheart officiating. Burial will follow in Athens Boone's Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of service. Family and friends will serve as bearers.
