BISHOP Charlotte Navine (Murray), 86 of Nicholasville, wife of the late James Paul Bishop, passed away Fri, August 22, 2025 at Maplewood Health and Rehabilitation in Lancaster, Ky. Born in Jellico, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Richard Harvey and Mary Louise (Todd) Murray. Charlotte was retired from the University of Kentucky, having worked in General Accounting. Charlotte was a wonderful woman, wife, mother, and grandmother who took pleasure in caring for her family and enjoyed listening to her granddaughter sing. She was a big UK Wildcats fan. Charlotte is survived by two daughters Connie Lynn Greene (Robert) of N. Palm Beach, FL, and Vicki Jane Sudina (James) of Nicholasville, KY; and granddaughter Candace Lynn Moberly (Derrick) of Nicholasville, KY. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren, two brothers Walter Murray (Diane) and Ricky Murray and predeceased by four brothers. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27th, 2:00-4:00 with funeral service to follow at Betts and West Funeral Home, 404 N Main Street, Nicholasville, Ky conducted by Pastor John Ritchie. Interment will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery on Wednesday September 3rd, at 10:00am.
