Charles Edward Sexton

Charles Edward Sexton, age 72, husband of Sylvia Mae Gaunce Sexton, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Tyner, Kentucky, on February 1, 1954, to the late Herschel Sexton and Wynona Baker Sexton. Charles was a United States Air Force Veteran, and a retired HVAC specialist. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Shannon Rosolowski and her husband, Ryan, and Megan Miller and her husband, Joseph; a son, Kenneth Edward Jones, and his wife, Shirley; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Sexton, and his wife, Sandy, and a sister, Kathy Perkins, and her husband, Wayne. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. The burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Barry Kurd, Michael Powell, Derrick Boyd, Ken Jones, Joseph Miller, and Giovanni Ortiz serving as bearers. Honorary bearers will be Bruce Gibson, George Waford, Kris Hawkins, Harold Clem, Andrew Sharp, Alex Sharp and Adam Sharp serving as honorary bearers.
