Charles Douglas Woolums

Charles Douglas Woolums, 71, husband of Beuna 'Boots' Woolums, died July 1, 2012. He was a member of Steele Chapel Christian Church in Corbin, a Kentucky Colonel and was retired from Bosch-Rexton Corp. He was the son of the late Kirtley and Kitty Lou Woolums. Additional survivors include his children, Dr. Stephen (Cindy) Woolums-Corbin and Susan Woolums (Jay) Swayze-Cincinnati, grandchildren, Allison, Sarah, Amanda and Stephen, two brothers, Richard and Michael Woolums and a sister, Susan Horn, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie and a brother Ronald Woolums. Memorial services will be 7:30 pm Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Leonard Fitch officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 pm until time of service Thursday. There will also be a Memorial Service at Steele Chapel Christian Church in Corbin, Monday, July 9, 2012 at 7:00 pm.
