Burton Balser Wright III

Burton Balser Wright, III, 58, husband of Lisa Ischer Wright, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026, at his home in Jessamine County. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on August 9, 1968, to the late Burton Balser Wright, Jr. and Elizabeth Howard Wright, who survives. In addition to his wife, Lisa, and his mother, Elizabeth, he is survived by his son, Burton “Chet” Balser Wright IV, and four brothers: John Wright and his wife, Amy; Ken Wright and his wife, Linda; Paul Wright and his wife, Nikki; and Andy Wright and his wife, Rachel. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with the burial at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, with Chet Wright, John Wright, Ken Wright, Paul Wright, Andy Wright, and Mark Davis serving as bearers. Honorary bearers will be Steve Brown and Archie Hillard. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
