Bryan Williams VanHoose

Bryan Williams VanHoose passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, in Delaware, OH, with his children and grandchildren. He was born June 7th, 1957, to the late Doctor James Edgel VanHoose and Lora Williams VanHoose. A passionate and loving father, grandfather, and brother, Bryan spent his last days and past years sharing the redeeming and saving work of Jesus in his life. Bryan worked as a registered nurse for 40 years, loving patients and going above and beyond to care for them. A favorite nurse to patients, Bryan at work and in life had a large heart for supporting, encouraging, and loving, as he would say, the least, last, and lost. He is survived by his son, Doctor Mitchell Blake VanHoose, and his wife, Doreen VanHoose. Daughter, Elizabeth VanHoose. Grandchildren, Emma Grace and Noah Eberhart. Siblings: Greg VanHoose, Dr James Douglas VanHoose and wife Linda, Kyra Shaft and husband Michael, Steve VanHoose and wife Brenda. Friends are welcome to join Bryan’s family to celebrate his life on December 13th, 2025, at Betts and West Funeral Home in Nicholasville, KY. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by his celebration of life service at 11 AM. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Tranquility Hospice of Delaware, OH, which helped make Bryan's last days and moments peaceful and blessed.
