Brutus Hill Stinnett, Jr, 65, husband of Mary Jane MacKay Stinnett, died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at his home on Mt. Lebanon Road. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on September 29, 1955 to the late Brutus Hill Stinnett and Carolyn Corman Stinnett. Brutus was an Army Veteran and retired from R.J. Corman Construction after 34 years as a construction supervisor. Survivors include his sons, Eleia Stinnett, Aaron Stinnett, daughters, Sara Stinnett, five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, stepchildren, Christy Burton, Daniel Duncan, and Josh Duncan. Additional survivors include sibling, John (Jennifer) Stinnett and Cathy (Robert) Parsley and Nina Granger. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Stinnett, and Chris Stinnett. Private visitation will be held at Betts & West Funeral Home. A Military Service will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with family and friends serving as bearers.
