Brenda Louise Carter

Brenda Louise Carter, 70, wife of Allen Ray Carter of Churchill Crossing, departed this life Saturday April 23, 2011 after a long illness. She was a long time employee of Carpenters Dish Barn. She was the daughter of the late Vernon and Gladys Crowe Perry. Brenda was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Additional survivors include two sons, Daren Carter and David (Teresa) Carter, a granddaughter, Ashley Carter-all of Nicholasville, two sisters, Shirley (J.C.) Ishmael-Lexington, Sarrah (Jim) Gorham-Georgetown, a brother, Vernon (Susan) Perry-Winchester and a close friend and caregiver, Mary Ann Jackson, several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Tyson Cummings. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Tuesday.
