Brenda B. Goins

Brenda B. Goins, 81, widow of Bob Goins, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Fayette County on December 10, 1940, to the late William Herbert Brumagen and Grace Miller. She is survived by her son, Ronald Eades (Sarah); daughter, Valerie Goins; stepson, Wayne Goins; brother, Jerry Miller “Tinker” Brumagen; grandchildren, Bradley Blanton, D. J. Blanton, Jerry Blanton, Devin Eades, Aubrey Eades, Odin Eades, Makenzie Perkins, Jacob Walker, Dalton Walker, Briah Shores, and Shaeleigh Goins; great-grandchildren, Brycen Barnett and Auden Barnett; as well as special friends, Penny, Henrietta, and Louise. In addition to her husband, Bob, and her parents, she is preceded by a daughter, Linda Sue Brown; two stepchildren, Bobby Goins and Dorothy Rose; and three siblings, Roger, Jean, and Grace. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 11, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Athens-Boonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve Brenda and the Goins family in their time of need.
