Betty Joyce Dobbs Downs, 86, passed, Saturday, August 12, 2017. She was born January 16, 1931 to the late Cordell Wesley and Ophia L. Carter Dobbs. Family survivors are a daughter, Janet Barnes and her husband John, a grandson, John Tristan (Reema) Barnes, a great granddaughter, Noor Anne Barnes, a sister, Joann (John) Ford and other family members. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Cordell Wesley Dobbs Jr., and Donald Dobbs. Service will be 4:00 PM Tuesday at Wesley Village Auditorium Room in Wilmore. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 PM until time of service at Wesley Village. Graveside service will be 11:30 AM Wednesday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Bardstown.
