Audrey Jean Howard

Audrey Jean Howard, age 90, widow of Mason Howard, and sister of Lois Sharp, died peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Audrey was the mother of Douglas Wayne Howard (Rochester, NY), Patricia Ann Miller (Warks, UK), and the late Ronald Clay Howard. Daughter of the late Miles and Grace Gullette, Audrey was a longtime member of Mt. Eden Christian Church. She is survived by faithful Christian friends, Wade and Lynn Ballard, whose watch-care over her in her final years exemplified their Christian devotion. Additional survivors include her three grandchildren, Miles Jerome Miller and his wife, Lauren, Tammy Howard, and Kathryn Jean Miller and great-grandchildren, Mason Miller, Penny Miller, and Millie Slate. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Bro. Greg Herriford and Bro. Dean Brewer officiating. The burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, with friends and family serving as bearers. The visitation will be held before the service, beginning at 11:00 AM and ending at the service time at the funeral home.
