Arvel Dunaway Jr.

Arvel Dunaway Jr., 69, passed away March 26, 2022, in Lexington, Kentucky. On November 9, 1952, he was born in Texas to the late Arvel Sr. and Billie Faye Daniels Dunaway. Arvil was a retired farmer and a veteran of the United States Navy. He is survived by two sons, David Rex Dunaway and Johnny Jackson Dunaway, one daughter Recca Lee (Rick) Dunaway, two brothers Ernest Louis “Butch” (Cora Lee) Dunaway, Anthony Odell “Yankee” Dunaway, two sisters Arvella Dunaway and Francis Lynn “Pixie” Bolen, three grandchildren Ashley Lynn Domaika, Cody Michael Sims and Brittany Reann Dunaway, also four great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at Noon Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
