Arnold S. Rosenthal, 81, a Washington DC native, passed away peacefully in Nicholasville, KY on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Arnold grew up in Washington, D.C. He attended Calvin Coolidge High School and then lived most of his life in Brookeville, Maryland working as a floor-covering salesman and raising his family. Arnold is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Toby Rosenthal; his eldest son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Karen Rosenthal, and his grandchildren Jenna and Eric; his middle son and daughter-in-law, David Rosenthal and Luciane Lima; and his youngest son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Pam Rosenthal. Arnold was always a funny and outgoing person who loved telling stories and making people laugh. Arnold played the bass-fiddle in his early years and enjoyed playing/watching golf, the Washington Bullets, Maryland basketball and of course the Washington football team. One of his favorite destinations was Nassau, Bahamas where the locals adored him and his humor. Final arrangements and services are still being planned, so the family only asks that you think about Arnold with a big smile and remember all his great stories. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html or Bluegrass Hospice at https://www.bgcarenav.org/give
