Anthony Peel

Anthony Lane Peel, 56, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away on June 11, 2026.  Born on November 7, 1969, Anthony was the son of Linda Peel and the late Henry Peel. He was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought joy to those around him.

Anthony had a deep love for music and was a talented drummer and guitarist. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, attending church, and was a dedicated fan of the television show The Office. Known for his remarkable ability to quote movies at any moment, Anthony's sense of humor and love of entertainment brought laughter and smiles to family and friends throughout his life.

Anthony is survived by his three children, Shawna Pierce, Christian Pierce, and Molly Pierce; his grandchildren, Shawn, Lillian, Xavion, Justin, and Azlee; his mother, Linda Peel; his brothers, Carlos Peel, Greg Peel, and David Peel; his sisters, Jessica Peel, Dianna Houp, Tabitha Brown, and Teresa Peel; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Peel; his grandmother, Marie Mulcahy; his papaw, Ernest Mulcahy; his sister, Catherine; his aunts, Shirley Mulcahy and Sharon Hurst; his uncle, Roger; and his grandson, Malachi.

Anthony will be remembered for his musical talent, his loyalty as a friend, his love and dedication as a father, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, humor, and passion for life will remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

Anthony will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Funeral services will be held at Betts and West Funeral Home in Nicholasville, Kentucky, on Friday, June 19th, from 12 pm to 2 pm.
