Anita Gaye Kaiser

Anita Gaye Kaiser, 84, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born on July 14, 1941, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Henry and Ella Arnsparger. Anita retired as a deputy clerk from the Jessamine County Clerk's office. She worked part-time at Dillons Tax Service after her retirement. Anita and her late sister, Vicki, owned Bluegrass Limo Service. Survivors include a son, Daniel Bosworth Lane (Dedra) of Lancaster, and a grandson, Elijah Daniel Lane of Lexington. Additional survivors include her close friends, including Judy Bell, Judy Murphy, Joanne Moore, Joe Walker, Adam and Susan Zeroogian, Hunter and Susan Daughtery. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Penrod; a brother, Gary Smith; an aunt; and an uncle, Mary and John Stelnicki of Toledo, Ohio, and her first husband, the father of her son, Samuel “Sammy” Marshall Lane. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Hunter Daugherty and Robert Wethington officiating. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Elijah Lane, Darrin Buskirk, Hunter Daughtery, Adam Zerogian, Joe Walker, and Marty Hoover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jessamine Humane Society in her honor.
