Anair Baker

Anair Fernanda Da Costa, wife of James Baker, of Nicholasville, KY, passed away on December 23, 2025. She was born on February 21, 1947, in the Azores Islands of Portugal. Ann was a devoted mother and friend who loved hosting parties, cooking, puzzles, watching her birds, and above all else, spending time with her family. Her feisty spirit and endless generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Baker, her daughter, Sandra Vogt and husband Dennis Vogt, daughter Shanon Maggard, and granddaughter Emily Ann Maggard. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home, 404 N Main Street, Nicholasville, Kentucky, with Jim Powell officiating. The visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the service time of 1:00 PM.   A private burial will be held in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
