Amzy Otha Hood, 86, husband of Luta Barbara Piercy Hood, passed Wednesday, April 19, 2017. He was born September 18, 1930 in Louisville, TN to the late William Douthit Hood and Jennie Carr Thomas Crowe. He was a member of Jamestown Christian Church, Jamestown, KY, a mason and Korean Army Veteran. Additional family survivors are a daughter, Karen (Harold) Clem, a sister, Betty (Tommy) Brewington, two brothers, H.D. (Glenda) Hood and Shirley (LouOma) Hood and other family members.
