Alberta Watkins Mackey, 96, widow of Everette Mackey, formerly of Jessamine County, died November 2, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mackey was a long time educator and was a member of the Nicholasville United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Lee Ann (George Haley) Moureaux, a son and his wife, Robert Everett ( Ruth) Mackey, five grandchildren, four step grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, John Mackey. Services will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Betts & West Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00am till service time Tuesday.
