Wanda F. Richardson

Wanda F. Richardson, 77, died Friday, July 20, 2018 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Wanda was born on May 31, 1941 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to the late Leroy and Vivian Pankey Peavler. Wanda was retired from the customer service department for Wal-Mart and was also a retired Home Interior Dealer. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She was loved and was deeply devoted to her family and was like a second mother to her nieces and nephews. Wanda is survived by a very special friend Ernie Lawson, eight siblings Dane (Peggy) Peavler, J.D. Peavler, Glenn (Sue) Peavler, Connie Peavler, Tommy (Linda) Peavler, Judy (Clinton) Wilson, Ruby (Roger) Dean. Marlene Hunt and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other family members to mourn her passing. Service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 24, 2018 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Brother Samuel Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
