Walena C. Lunsford

Walena C. Lunsford, 90, widow of Wolford Nealey Lunsford, passed Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born April 8, 1927 in Harlan County to the late Hobert A. Garrett and Rhoda Cornet Collins. Walena was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She liked to garden and sew. Family survivors are three children, Glenn R. Lunsford, Marvin N. (Carol) Lunsford, and Donnie D. (Nora) Lunsford, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda L. Parker, two sister, Ann Graham and Peggy Collins, and a brother, Carl Collins. Service will be 1:00 PM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Noe officiating.
