W.M. "Bill" Fayne

W.M. -Bill- Fayne, 88, widower of Jeanette Fayne, of Old Wilmore Road, died April 2, 2009 at his home. He was born May 9, 1920 in Jessamine County, son of the late Manford and Daisy Easley Fayne. He was a charter member and former deacon of Brookside Baptist Church, was a founding member of the Jessamine Co. Saddle Club and former owner of Mid-State Petroleum. Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Clark, three sons, Rev. Billy G. (Joyce) Fayne, Jackie Thomas (Ramona) Fayne and Albert L. (Flonnie Morse) Fayne, thirteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, including Kyle David Dotson and Jacob Gumm, five great great grandchildren, a sister, Violet McQuery. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Thomas Lee Fayne, a great grandchild, Brian Thomas Price, brothers, Ray and Ralph Fayne, a sister, Hazel Phillips, a son in law, Earl C. Clark and a special friend, Rose Bridgewater. Services will be 1:00pm Monday at Brookside Baptist Church with Rev. Dewayne Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-9pm at Betts & West Funeral Home and from Noon-1:00pm Monday at the church. Bearers will be Mike Fayne, Billy Fayne Jr., Joshua T. Fayne, Nathan Fayne, Brandon Clark and Jason Lee Price. Honorary bearers will be Kevin Scott Fayne, Lance and Thomas Gay, Bill Royalty and Roy Vale.
