Virgie Lee Barnett Hunt, 81, wife of Charles Ronald Hunt, passed Saturday, January 13, 2018. She was born September 7, 1936 in Rockcastle County to the late Tom and Delphia Denny Barnett. She was retired from Vaughn’s Tobacco Company. Survived by a son, Shannon Ray Hunt, a daughter, Rita Hunt Parker, two daughter-in-laws, Sonya & Easter Hunt, two brothers, Darrell Barnett and Orville Barnett, thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and other family members. She was also preceded in death by two sons, David Hunt and Norman Hunt, a granddaughter, Autumn Hunt, nine brothers, and two sisters. Service will be 9:30 AM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. James Humphrey officiating. Entombent will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Shane Hunt, Seth Hunt, Blaine Prewitt, Kenny Epley, Tim Blackford, and David Lawson.
