Viola Helen Marcum

Viola Helen Marcum, 77, widow of Adam Marcum, died November 26, 2014 after a battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Lila Gray Griffin. Survivors include five children, Deborah Reed-Roanoke, VA, Brenda (Dee Jay) Jackson-San Antonio, TX, Joann (Gary) Stokley-Garrard Co., William Douglas Marcum- Nicholasville and Sue (Michael) Holman-Garrard Co. A special Granddaughter that she raised Crystal Gail Dean, 12 grandchildren, 9 - great grandchildren, a brother, Dillard Griffin, three sisters, Rosie Marie Berryman, Lois Faye Hisle and Alice Mae Williams, and aunt, Lula Mae Williams, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Marcum and three brothers. Services will be 1:00pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm.
