Verna Louise Maxey

Verna Louise Bransom Maxey, 82, passed Monday, February 7, 2016. She was born May 3, 1933 in Highbridge KY to the late Lampton Price Bransom and Martha Blanche Barnett Bransom Reynolds. Verna liked to watch animal planet and crochet. Family survivors are a daughter, Barbara Collins (Paul) Groves, two grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne (Claudia) Littral and Benjamin Corey (Stephanie) Moore, three step grandchildren, Brian Lee Moore and his fiancé Stacy, Cassey Rae Groves and her fiancé Mason and Paul Eugene Groves III and his fiancé Micah, eight great grandchildren, Jacob, Allison, Mason, Sydney and Kendall Moore, Hannah DeBord, Chase Freels, Laina Rae Turner, Paul and Noah Groves, two great great grandchildren, Meredith Leigh Ann Probst and Micah Lee DeBord, a niece, Wanda Blair and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a great grandchild, Michael Tyler Smith and a brother, James Earnest Bransom. Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Wilmore Cemetery.
