Verna Jean Pollitt

Verna Jean Pollitt, 89, widow of Harold Allen Pollitt, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at U.K. Medical Center. She was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on February 6, 1932, to the late Huffman Doyle and Willa Mae Dethridge Doyle. Verna was retired from Trane Company in Lexington, Kentucky. Survivors include sons, Barry Pollitt (Tammy), and Randy Pollitt, daughters, Marilyn Fogle and Jill Johnson, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Dean Pollitt, daughter, Brenda Dailey and three siblings. Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Maple Grove Cemetery.
