Thomas Burgin Jr.

Thomas Burgin Jr., widower of Mary Catherine Davis Burgin, 86, passed Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was born on July 16, 1928 in Jessamine County, Kentucky to the late William Thomas and Media Murphy Burgin. Thomas was a retired Electrician with the Henderson Electric Company, a member of the First Assembly of God, the local IBEW and he loved to fish, garden and farm. Survivors include eight children, Linda Darlene (Harold) Burgin Alcorn, Thomas Glen Burgin, Barry Wayne Burgin, David Lee (Joyce) Burgin, Phyllis Burgin (Jack) Rainwater, Diana Burgin (Russell) Jones, Lisa Gail Burgin Baugh and Tracy Catherine Burgin, twelve grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, one brother, Chester Burgin and other family members. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Sue Burgin and a son Roger Dale Burgin. Service will be 10:00 am Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Morrison officiating.
